groovy like a movie was founded in february 2000 by executive producer Brent Altomare. At the beginning, the goal was to provide “big company” service to small organizations that needed multimedia production.
In those early years with only one employee, groovy like a movie helped launch a soccer coaching association, contributed to the success of several used car dealerships, and built television branding spots for a new professional sports franchise. Often the work was its own reward, and Brent built outstanding relationships within the business and production communities.
The company has matured into a strong creative force in San Diego. By 2004, groovy like a movie had grown into one of the 25 largest production companies in san diego according to the San Diego Business Journal. In 2005, groovy moved up three places on that same list.
The upcoming year promises to be a banner one for groovy like a movie. Ongoing training in all areas of production for the team, a strong commitment to customer service, and a promise to treat every client, large and small, with dignity and respect, brent and his award winning team are ready for any creative challenge that might come their way!
